Apple Maps boosts directions, lane guidance in several cities, assorted countries

This could definitely be helpful.

Apple on Wednesday boosted its transit directions and lane guidance for its Apple Maps apps.

The feature, which originally provided transit directions for Baltimore, Berlin, Boston, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Sydney, Toronto, and around 300 cities in China upon launch added several other cities in 2016.

On Wednesday, Apple added transit directions for Columbia, Charleston, and Greenville to the list.


Apple also expanded its lane guidance feature and has added Austria, South Africa, and Switzerland to the list.

In total, lane guidance is now available in the following 14 countries: the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
