Will iTunes 11.2.2 run on Mac OS 10.6.8 ? I just downloaded the 11.2.2 upgrade to iTunes and now it will no longer launch. I have an iMac withOS 10.6.8. Can I re-download an earlier version of iTunes?

Am I correct in observing that iTunes 11.2.2 dropped support for books? It seems to have left the Digital Books in limbo – no longer show up in the iTunes Library. But they do exist in the iTunes/iTunes Media directory tree (in the album folders). And any books previously synced using iTunes are out there as well, but you can’t see them inside iTunes app. This looks like apple dropped the ball. The update to 11.2.2 didn’t move the existing boolkets or books to iBooks, and an album I downloaded from the iTunes store (using the new version) has a digital booklet that is identified as a Music file. This is the only digital booklet I can see in iTunes.
