The mighty iTunes received an update yesterday.

And it possesses a new icon to be somewhat confused by.

Late Tuesday, Apple released iTunes 12.2. The new version of the software, a 232.8 megabyte download, adds support for the Apple Music streaming service, complete with Beats 1 and Apple Radio as well.

iTunes 12.2 can be downloaded and installed through OS X’s Software Update or App Store features and requires an Intel processing running OS X 10.7.5 or later to run while its iTunes Extras kit requires OS X 10.9.3 or later to install and run.

If you’ve tried the new version of iTunes and have any feedback to offer, please let us know in the comments.
