Apple Store Finishes Last in e-Usability Report

In a new 45-page Usability Research Report that analyzes the search functionality at 25 leading e-commerce sites, The Apple Store finished last (Lands’ End and Petco finished first).

The report details how 25 top online retailers handle misspellings, synonyms, hyphenation, plurals, and other real-world search queries. The US$99 report also includes 22 best practices to help you make your site’s search results more useful.

BTW: The report itself was produced on a 800MHz TiBook running Mac OS X with InDesign 2.0.
