In addition to its iMac, Mac Mini, iLife and .Mac updates, Apple also quietly updated its Front Row and Aperture applications.
Front Row 1.3.1, which is available as a 4.5 megabyte download (courtesy of VersionTracker), improves iPhoto compatibility.
The new version requires Mac OS X 10.4.7 or later to run and can be downloaded via Mac OS X’s Software Update feature on Front Row-equipped Macs.
Aperture 1.5.4 serves as a required update for iLife 2008 and allows users to import images directly from iPhoto ’08 and to share Aperture images with iLife ’08 and ‘iWork ’08 applications via the Media Browser.
The Aperture 1.5.4 update is available here and requires Mac OS X 10.4.8 or later to run.
If you’ve tried the new versions and had either a positive or negative experience with them, let us know in the comments of forums.
