Apple Wins Grammy

WIDTH= Tonight Apple will win a Grammy award for technical acheivement from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, sharing the 2002 technical award with electronic music pioneer Bob Moog. Apple has plenty to be proud of, as the machine of choice of numerous musicians and composers, for helping launch the digital music revolution with the Macintosh, and for ongoing commitment to music with technologies like QuickTime and OS X’s new Core Audio Services. If you’re not familiar with Bob Moog, his technology is also worth a look: Moog revolutionized synthesis with his Moog synthesizers and continues to delight musicians with modern theremins, remakes of his classic synths, and analog processors like the moogerfooger, available from his company Big Briar. Congratulations to Apple and Dr. Moog for their lifetimes of acheivement.
