BlueTooth-Native PowerBooks on Tap for Macworld SF 2003

According to PowerPage sources the successor to the current PowerBook G4 Titanium is due to be announced at Macworld Expo San Francisco 2003 (6-10 January 2003). The main difference with the new models (alongside the usual “speed bumps”) will be the addition of BlueTooth wireless technology on the logic board. No need for an external USB adapter. Word is that all Macs shipped in 2003 will feature BT on the logic board. According to one source current test mules show significant interference between BT and Airport, in effect cutting the range of Airport, but the issue is expected to be resolved by production time.
