Taking a page from Detroit auto makers, Compaq has unveiled a series of “future prototype PC images,” and also unveiled a new ultra-slim desktop form factor — the Evo 500 — this thing is impressively small … but it’s a Compaq PC.
Nonetheless, the gallery of future PC design is interesting although many of the devices seem to be extremely un-ergonomic. Others are fairly innovative. With all the focus on doctored photoshop potential prototypes in the Macintosh community, I thought it was interesting to highlight Compaq’s own efforts in creating actual PC prototypes.
