eBay Shenanigans

Did you happen to catch this on eBay? A seller named “notorious” posted what he called an iBook 2000 edition. This is clearly a product that doesn’t exist. Here are some of the features that he lists as standard on the new machine.

* 96MB RAM
* 333mhz G3
* 3.3 GIG HD
* stereo speakers
* 8 hour battery life!
* a more durable waterproof shell

The auction was open yesterday, but when we checked back this morning it was closed. The photo link has been broken the entire time. Can you believe there were actually 11 bids for this thing! The lucky winner has agreed to pay (US)$1,450 for this rare beast.

In case you missed it the first time we’ll say it again. This is a scam! Don’t get ripped off.
