Frustrated MacBook/MacBook Pro users can now join class action suit against Apple regarding 2015, 2016, 2017 MacBook, MacBook Pro keyboard failures

If you’re in the mood for litigation, here you go.

Following up on our previous story about the model year 2015 and 2016 MacBook Pro notebook keyboards failing, complete with the only way to fix the keyboard being to replace the top case/keyboard mechanism and potentially facing yet another failed keyboard, a number of Apple customers have decided to take the next step.


A class action lawsuit has been put into motion and customer with a 2015 or later MacBook or MacBook notebook Pro you can sign up to be part of the suit.

The suit is being handled via Girard Gibbs LLP and customers can register to be part of the overall complaint.

It’s hard to say where this will go, but if you’ve been put through the ringer via the keyboard and its associated repairs, this might be what you’re looking for.
