A couple NoBeige readers inquire about the 15″ Flat Panel displays and the G4s, saying that the Apple Store says that the flat panel display is not recommended for use with the G4. The info page in the Apple Store for the flat panel display has that just that one line, without any explanation. We couldn’t find any explanation in Apple’s Tech Info Library nor in the Apple Store, so anything we say is pure conjecture. It could be an issue with the built-in video on the G4s, or it could just be a quality of display issue. But seeing that this display uses a standard analog VGA-style RGB input, we see no reason why you can’t use it with a G4.
