Google launches Google Keep note-taking app for iOS

If you were looking for Google to create a note-taking service and launch it for iOS, this is the day you’ve been waiting for.

More than two years after launching Google Keep for Android and the Web in March of 2013 and Android Wear in June of 2014, Google Keep has now launched on iOS.

The software allows the following bits of niftiness:
– Capture, edit, share, and collaborate on your notes on any device, anywhere.

– Add notes, lists, photos, and audio to Keep.

– Organize your notes with labels and colors.

– Set and forget. Get reminded about a note at the right time or place.

– Record a voice memo and have it automatically transcribed.

– Grab the text from an image to help you quickly find that note again through search.

This may not take down Evernote, Dropbox or OneNote, but it’s still a decent round up of features and has yet to appear on Windows 10.

Google Keep requires iOS 8.0 or later to install and run.

If you’ve had a chance to tinker with Google Keep and have any feedback to offer, let us know in the comments.
