I got an email from Palm support saying that the new MultiMail Deluxe upgrade for the wireless Palm i705 users are for PC users only. The updater is only available in .exe executeable files, and that none are available for mac users.
This is frustrating, as any i705 user knows, the MultiMail application was sorely in need of an upgrade (recipients often get two or three copies of the same email). It is perplexing to me why a Palm OS upgrade requires a PC.
Also frustrating is that the i705 is effectively halfways-compatible with OS X. For certain functions, you must boot into OS 9, meaning I have two versions of the Palm Desktop, one for each OS.
