Now that Sony is pushing its Memory Stick technology, we’re wondering if they are trying to convince Apple to support it as well. If you’re looking for a Memory Stick solution with Sony’s Vaio PCG-C1 (it was released several months before the Memory Stick), you can still use the Memory Stick with a PC card. Sony’s newer PCG-C1xe does support Memory Stick.
Several readers seem to think that it would be an advantage if Apple continued its long tradition of working with Sony and included a Memory Stick slot on future iBooks, PowerBooks and next generation iMacs – the PowerPage supports the adoption of industry standards instead.
