Interactive Week’s Matthew Rothenberg weighs in with his predictions for Apple’s announcements at next week’s Macworld Expo: a focus on desktop hardware.
Matthew goes on the record to predict new desktop G4s (733, 800 and 867 MHz) with a slimmer enclosure and new speaker and G3 iMacs with LCDs topping out at 700 MHz. The update to Mac OS X (10.1, a.k.a. Puma) and Mac OS 9.2 will “slip under the Expo radar,” according to Rothenberg.
File under “likely” – a raft of Apple retail store announcements and a discussion of Apple’s third-quarter results which are due on Tuesday, 17 July.
