This is actually pretty neat.

Liner has released the Liner app for iOS. The application allows users to highlight & annotate text, share complete pages or phrases, function as a Safari extension, share to other apps with the share extension and save pages to to Liner app for later highlighting.

Liner also allows you to save and export to Evernote and support three highlight colors.

The app requires iOS 8.0 or later to install and run and is available for free.

And, in the words of the mighty Erikka Innes, “why highlight the interesting stuff when you can just black out the boring stuff?”, which may be the best and worst joke of all time.

If you’ve tried Liner and have any feedback, let us know in the comments.
