macintosh.js project allows Mac OS 8 to run as JavaScript app under macOS, Windows, and Linux

If you’re hankering for some old school Mac stuff to run under macOS, you’re going to like this.

A group of developers has created macintosh.js, a JavaScript app that allows Mac OS 8 to run on macOS, Windows, and Linux. The code is available on GitHub, and the developers have promised some goodies from an old Macworld Demo CD from 1997, with games and demos including Oregon Trail, Duke Nukem 3D, Civilization II, Alley 19 Bowling, Damage Incorporated, and Dungeons & Dragons.
