MacSpeech released iMacPlainTalkEnabler 1.0, which is a software extension that enables the use of Apple’s PlainTalk English Speech Recognition software on the iMac. This is an unsupported patch and Apple is expected to release an iMac-compatible version of PlainTalk in Mac OS 8.6.
