Microsoft Office 2016 is here.

Or, at least, it’s arrived for Office 365 subscribers.

The new version of Microsoft Office has arrived with Microsoft citing support for Mac capabilities like Full Screen view, Multi-Touch gestures, full Retina display support as well as cloud support to allow Macs and assorted devices to work on documents.

New features include improved document commenting in Word, an improved formula builder for Excel, a new animation pane in PowerPoint, a reworked version of Outlook for email and OneNote, which allows quick, shared note creation between computers and devices as needed.

Microsoft has stated that it plans to release updates and new features for Office 365 customers at least once per quarter.

Office 365 subscribers can get the newest version of Office for Mac today, which includes the rights and access to use Office applications on Mac, Windows, iOS and Android devices, along with additional value in OneDrive and Skype.

Microsoft Office 2016 requires a Mac running OS X 10.10 or later to install and run.

The stand-alone version will be available for purchase in September.
