Microsoft's Longhorn OS Takes a Page From Apple's Book

If you go to this article on Winbeta.org you will see some images of Microsofts newest operating system called Longhorn. You will see some striking similarties. Such as, the control panel is very similar the Mac OSX’s also including such subtle things as striated windows. Anyway, alot of this stuff seems overdone, and certain things are now able to be done within Windows Explorer, like start slide shows. Just about everything you will see, has a tint of OSX on it. Like “Slide Show” has now taken on a familiar transparency look, as well as has the ability to have programs be minimized to it, and have short cuts to applications be on it without having to go to a menu. It kinda stinks that we are being copied yet again, but this thing isn’t supposed to be released till 2004 I think, which means we should be on Mac OS X 10.3 or 10.4 by then, being even further along then this.
