Nova Media today announced software to make connecting to the Internet via cell phones easier. Mobile High Speed for Mac OS is a “three step solution” (as opposed to Apple’s 20 steps) for connecting to CDMA, TDMA, GPRS, GSM, and HSCSD on a variety of phones and networks. For GPRS connections, the software automatically configures all necessary system settings, doing the behind-the-scenes work so you don’t have to. Connect your phone via Bluetooth, cable, or infrared, click a single setting, and go. The software is available for EUR86 plus tax. Free trial downloads are available from the site. I haven’t fired it up yet, so let me know your experiences.
