You rely on your cell phone to do everything, wouldn’t it be great if it serenaded you too? Samsung’s new phone can hold 16MB of music, enough for 15 minutes of listening pleasure. The phone is currently available only in Korea but the U.S. version will be released by the end of the year. The U.S. version will store files in MP3 format and will come with an earphone attachment. Music files are downloaded from a PC into the phone’s flash memory chips. The phone costs about US$400, and Samsung projects sales in Korea to top 250,000 units.
