Griffin Technology has developed a remote control device that plugs into the RCA mini-jack connection on your iPod. I witnessed a demo unit controlling a small entertainment center with such commands play, stop and next song working within a 10 foot range. Griffin Technology said that this prototype is literally less than a week old and they haven?t developed a solid idea of what other uses might be generated for this technology. At the very least, it?s an interesting idea of the potential expandability and alternate uses for the iPod.
