MWSF03: iGo Converts iMacs into Spider Droids

I was walking around the less traveled areas of Macworld, and was astonished by some cool new iMac stands. Describing them from the top down, the base holding the iMac continues the sphere shape, using a matching plastic interior, while adding lighting. A keyboard holder comes out the front with a white leather wrist wrest and mouse pad built in. Four chrome legs, of the same thickness and look as the iMac neck, come out of the sphere. The front two are straight, while the back two are curved. It was gorgeous, a compelling argument to get an iMac, at least from an industrial design outlook. The iGo4Mac Web site is still under construction at press time. They were priced at US$349 I recall. I took a couple of pictures (1, 2) – this thing has to be seen to be believed.
