New Sony VAIO Sports a 16.1-inch LCD

Sony’s new line of VAIO GRX notebook computers raise the bar for LCD screen size with a large 16.1-inch diagonal display. The PCG-GRX570 and PCG-GRX590 feature the amazing 16.1-inch high-resolution UXGA TFT (1600×1200) with dual display support. The 16.1-inch UXGA TFT screen option offers the same viewing area as most 17-inch CRT monitors. The GRX570 and 590 ship with Intel Pentium 4 processors running at 1.6 and 1.7 GHz, internal DVD/CD-RW, 512 MB of SDRAM, 30 or 40 GB HDD and cost US$2499 and US$2999 respectively. But forget about that, the real question is whether or not Cupertino can source some of those sweet LCDs for TiBook 2.0 which is on tap for a summer release. Steve?
