I have a theory that I would like to share with the readers of the PowerPage. The handwriting recognition that is built into Mac OS X is really good. I was talking about this to one of my friends, (we are both former Newton owners…we had the 110 and 120 models) and we think that Apple might be setting itself up for a new handheld device sometime soon. Since the application of HWR is very limited on a desktop computer, I am thinking that a Newton2 might be coming in the not-too-distant future.
