Apple is beefing up the address book for Jaguar and it’s starting to look like managing multiple contact databases will be a thing of the past. What about dumping Palm Desktop and Entourage in favor of Apple’s mail client and calendar software? This will require an upgrade to 10.2 to use iSync and iCal, but in the long run, having this data available to other programs will make life a lot simpler. I have found Palm web synchronizing software for the Mac to be fairly clunky and iCal may solve this problem as well – especially if you subscribe to .mac.
