According to a Digidesign source, Pro Tools 6 should be avaialble in the end of November for Mac OS X. Protools LE versions would then appear later in the year. The full story is at MacMusic.
Ed’s note: November sounds a little soon, and let’s hope the source’s information about OS X-only and HD hardware-only is wrong, but Digidesign is expected to release OS X Pro Tools by the spring and many of the features sound compelling. -PK
