Save Princeton!

Princeton University, in New Jersey, is another school that is going wireless. They’re starting a pilot project in and around their library (which I hear is rather labyrinthine in character) that will allow notebook computer users to be on the network using wireless Ethernet. According to a Princeton student who tells us about the project:

Our computer folks are in the process of making the library a wireless zone, and in addition, providing wireless access points that would allow students to go mobile on some of the grassy areas frequented bystudiers when it is nice out. The network is airport compatible.

An article in the Daily Princetonian (“University to offer wireless ethernet“) provides more details.

Speaking of Princeton, remember that Mac-only text adventure game, “Save Princeton“?
