Happy Fourth of July from O’Grady’s PowerPage!!!
It’s the Fourth of July here in America and the staff here at O’Grady’s PowerPage will be spending time with friends and family and will return on Thursday with the latest and greatest Mac, mobile and iOS news, reports and rumors for you.
On a personal note, I know things are politically bonkers, it seems harder to agree on anything these days and the heat wave encapsulating most of the country isn’t helping to soothe feelings either. Still, the Fourth of July is an amazing holiday, so disconnect from your computers and devices for a bit, see some friends and family, eat some awesome food, put your differences aside, enjoy the fireworks and enjoy the day and the evening.

Happy Memorial Day from the PowerPage!!!
Ladies and gents, it’s Memorial Day and the staff of O’Grady’s PowerPage will be taking the day off to spend time with friends and family as well as pay respect to our nation’s veterans for their service.
We’ll be back tomorrow, so get together with some friends, put the Macs and devices aside for a bit, enjoy some amazing barbecue and we’ll have the latest events in the Apple universe coming your way as always.

Apple reports $88.3 billion in revenue for Q1 2018
Even if iPhone X sales are slumping, Apple still reported a record-breaking $88.3 billion in revenue for the quarter ending on December 31st, 2017. This represents a 13 percent increase over last year’s $78.4 billion.
The company managed to sell 77.3 million iPhones in the three-month holiday quarter, about a million less than last year, but revenue grew by more than $7 billion to $61.6 billion. Per company CEO Tim Cook, the iPhone X “surpassed our expectations and has been our top-selling iPhone every week since it shipped in November.”
