TDK USB Bluetooth Adapter Works on OS X

I have received calls from Mac users trying to use the TDK Bluetooth Adapter with O/S X.1 and X.2. Firstly, I can assure you it does work, and furthermore, Apple has our products in their test labs.

I have seen a problem where the adapter firmware is too old for the Apple Bluetooth Software and just does not get recognised by the OS, even after rebooting with the dongle attached. Unfortunately, Apple’s Bluetooth software only works with later CSR chipset firmware. If anyone has a TDK dongle that is not working, send an email to tm@tdksys.com and I will offer any support I can. Furthermore, TDK will not charge for any firmware upgrades required on the TDK device. (Note to any Apple dealers out there: this service is also available to you.)
