It’s a 2002 Audi Allroad.
The mounts for both the treo and the iPod kit are from ProFit International. They have a brackets for just about anything.
The iPod kit is from DensionUSA. This is the third interface kit I’ve installed, and its by far the best of the bunch. I’ve previously owned a P.I.E. Adapter which was incompatible with iPod Photo or Video, and also a Neo ION which was aweful – lousy peamp signal and steering wheel controls would rarely function.
The Treo 650 mounting kit is from ProClipUSA.com, they have everything including brackets.
The Audi Allroad radio had a phone interface for an optional built in phone. Mine did not have this, but I modified the harness to accept a Parrot CK3000 bluetooth hands free system. It functions very well… mutes the radio when a call comes in and plays calls through the car speakers.
Also, one additional gadget that’s installed which you can’t see in the picture is a TomTom Bluetooth Navigator 5. The GPS unit is attached to the windshield right next to my EZ Pass transponder.
I spend a lot of time traveling, and the best part of this setup is that I rarely have to take my hands off the wheel while driving.
