The Keynote vs. Time Magazine

When I logged on to Apple’s Web site just after noon EST yesterday and started waiting for my 56K modem to chug along and start showing me the keynote, I thought that I would open another window and check out the Go2Mac page.

When I saw the story on Time Canada’s Web site fumble, I thought “Forget this!” and immediately headed out to my local grocery store. A bunch of boxes full of new magazines was sitting around waiting to be put out.

I rummaged through the boxes until I found the new issue of Time. I went home, reading all the way. The most interesting, and uplifting thing in the entire article (other than the new iMac [drool]) was the graph near the end of the article that showed that Apple’s sales have been up sharply during the 2nd and 3rd quarters of this past year. Which leaves me thinking, when exactly did Apple start opening its own stores?
