Some random observations on Mac OS 10.4 Tiger, in no particular order:
Who’s Not Upgrading
MacSlash has a thread on Who Isn’t Upgrading to Tiger.
Safari RSS
Rain From Vermont has posted an interesting snippet called A Little About Safari RSS:

I just spent the last fifteen minutes or so importing my Bloglines subscriptions into Safari RSS and I figured I might as well share my initial impression and how I did the import. One note, my importing technique involves using the fantastic text editor TextMate but could easily be extended to a Perl/PHP/what have you script solution.

I’d also like to point out that the PowerPage’s spiffy new RSS 2.0 feed is now Safari RSS compliant. (Thanks Ammad!)
RSS Screen Saver
O’Reilly Developer Weblogs has a story on Using Tiger’s RSS Screen Saver:

One of the coolest features of Mac OS X Tiger is its RSS Screen Saver. When your screen saver goes into action, news feeds from the site you select are displayed on-screen, along with a brief intro to the article.
To change Tiger’s default screen saver to use the RSS feed, follow these steps

Stealth Mode
Newsfactor reports on the new “stealth mode” in Tiger’s built-in firewall that makes your Mac invisible to ping signals from Internet predators hunting for computers to infect.
iSync 2.0
Want to sync your devices with your Mac? If you’re using iSync version 2.0, included with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, there are many devices and services that will work with it. To find out more, see the iSync Compatible Devices Web page.
