I had AIM running when iChat froze (someone tried to establish a direct connection with me, which I guess iChat doesn’t support), and I have Fred set to read the messages…let’s just say that Apple’s given him some personality. He’s got new intonation/inflection in his voice. When he says “LOL,” he actually sounds happy. I know it’s weird, but this was REALLY noticeable. Try it.
Also, there is a nice new feature for those of us inserting PC cards (I have CF and Memory Stick PC Card readers)…they show up as PC Cards on the desktop instead of generic hard drives, and there’s even a menuling that pops up. Also, my AirPort menuling now scrolls messages when there are activities going on with my connection (connection dropped…redialing…etc).
Anyway, just wanted to point out some of the several niceties of Jaguar.
Jaguar also seems to have tickered with the sensitivity of the trackpad on my TiBook 800MHz. It is now much jumpier than before. Has anyone else noticed this? -Ed
