I have a Wallstreet PB and decided to purchase the MCE DVD/CDRW combo drive for my expansion bay. After receiving the drive one of the first things I noticed was a smoother play back of my DVD movies.
The second thing I found was that I could now read any DVD/R or CD-RW disk, which I was unable to do with the Apple DVD drive. Performance is great (for a laptop) and now my PowerBook does something the brand new G4 dosen’t: read DVD/Rs and burn CD-RWs. Thanks MCE.
