Apple launches Apple News+ service, offers access to 300 publications for $9.99 per month

Apple News is about to hit the big time.

Apple on Monday announced the launch of its Apple News+ service, which will retail for $9.99 a month and offer access to 300 magazines through the service. The price tag will also allow access to premium news publications such as the Wall Street Journal, LA Times, and The Skimm.

In addition, the service can be shared for free amongst family members, and will be available in the United States and Canada as of Monday, and will launch in Australia and the UK in the fall.

Apple also stated that through the service, different publications will be curated and recommended to users by human editors.
