How-to: How to easily check if your data’s been breached

In these days of massive data breaches and multi-step authentication, perhaps the best question is whether your accounts have been breached in the first place?

On Sunday, notable computer maven, philosopher and all-around wise human being Dirk A. Keaton pointed out the mighty haveibeenpwned.com, an aggregator web site that compiles breaches, lets people enter their email addresses to see if their data has been breached and where and allows them to sign up for an early warning email list.

It’s a clever idea that’s a long time coming, handy, and it let me realize where my data’s been breached, through which services (in this case Adobe and Dropbox), and let me pinpoint where to change my passwords and bolster security.

Head on over, take a gander, and see what you think.
