Ross Dixon alerts us to Apple posting the preview release of IP Over FireWire. Hannes Wolf speculates about two possibilities as to what this could be about: “1.) Seems that Apple (and eventually others like Philips…) will bring devices without Ethernet and CDROM… 2.) NAS, something like a small Xserve RAID… “
