Apple Business iPhone iPhone 12 News Pre-order retail Retail Store

iPhone 12 Pro delivery dates begin to slip, will now arrive in early November in some regions

There’s supply and demand, and they’re never exactly in perfect synch with each other.

Following Apple’s acceptance of pre-orders for its iPhone 12 Pro handsets, a number of estimated delivery dates have begun to move back around the world.

The delivery dates, which began at October 23, slipped back into November within three to four minutes of pre-orders being accepted, and some models and configurations saw delivery dates slipping back one and then two weeks. U.S. customers appear to have fared better, but worldwide it appears that Apple is already unable to keep up with initial demand on time.

U.S. customers seem to be in a more fortunate position, and it’s still possible to get the iPhone 12 delivered by October 23, assuming you order soon. There is also an option for collecting in-store and a random sampling of possible stores from New York to Los Angeles is showing the same October 23 date, as of October 16, 10:40 AM. ET

For France and Australia, the delivery date has slipped from October 23, and instead now lists the devices as available within five to seven working days, which means the date may actually have slipped to Monday 26.

Per the UK, the iPhone 12 is now available for delivery on November 2-9 at the earliest.

Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
