Some users report music library mangling after iTunes 12.2 update

Following the release of iTunes 12.2, a number of users have expressed concerns that the update has somewhat mangled their iTunes music libraries after enabling iCloud Music Library.

As reported by several outlets, users end up with a library full for scrambled titles, albums, and artists.

Adobe pushes Flash Player, cites security vulnerabilities in previous versions

As useful as it may be, Adobe is still putting out fires with Flash Player.

The company issued a security update for its Flash Player on OS X, Windows, and Linux. In the bulletin, it cited that this update addresses a critical security vulnerability that could allow an attacker to gain control and take over an affected system.

While Adobe notes that hackers have most commonly taken advantage of this vulnerability with systems running Internet Explorer for Windows 7 and Firefox on Windows XP, the exploit affected all users. To combat the issue, the company has pushed the build of Flash Player and is urging all users to update immediately.


Google Drive for iOS updated to 4.0, adds new Material Design user interface, other features

Google Drive for iOS has just been updated and it’s added some nifty new features.

The app now features a Material Design user interface to bring it in like with Google’s other apps. A new swipe feature can be used to go back a level in the app and other new features include faster syncing, faster image viewing and improved scrolling performance.

Apple put a lot of fixes and changes into its Watch OS 1.0.1 update.

It might need a few more.

A number of users as well as independent testing have reported that the Watch OS 1.0.1 updated has caused some Apple Watches to track heart rate sporadically, in some cases with an hour or more between readings, according to complaints on Apple’s support forums, and verified by AppleInsider’s array of tests.

The first Apple Watch update is here.

And it includes a slew of interesting fixes and changes.

On Tuesday, Apple released its Watch OS 1.0.1 update. To install the update, connect your Apple Watch to power, make sure it has at least a 50 percent charge, connect your iPhone to a Wi-Fi network, make sure your iPhone is within range of your Apple Watch, on your iPhone, open the Apple Watch app and tap My Watch > General > Software Update.

Hot on the heels of muchos other updates, Apple has released iTunes 12.1.2.

The new version, a 120 megabyte download, improves syncing to your iOS devices from the newly-released Photos for OS X. The update also adds several improvements to the Get Info window and improves overall application stability.

It’s a day of muchos updates for OS X and iOS users.

On Wednesday, Apple released version 8.3 of its iOS operating system.

The new version, a 487 megabyte download, contains a massive helping of fixes and changes. Among them are more than 300 new emoji symbols, a scrolling keyboard, additional languages for Siri and improvements to unknown number filters in iMessage.
