Apple released its iOS 9 operating system update today. The update, a 1 gigabyte download available over the air or through iTunes, adds the following fixes and changes:
– New multitasking features on iPad make you even more productive.
– Siri can do more than ever, and new proactive suggestions help you get things done before you ask.
You were hankering for the iPad Pro at the media event.
And your wish came true.
Over at the “Hey Siri” media event, Apple introduced its 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablet. The unit, which features a 5.6 million pixel display, A9X processor, 10-hour battery and 4-speaker audio system with audio frequency balancing, will arrive in gold, silver and space gray colors.
Apple might be debuting its long-awaited next-gen “iPad Pro” come the media event on September 9th.
The rumor mill currently has it that besides a pair of new iPhones, the substantially revamped Apple TV set top box, and new bands for the Apple Watch, Apple is currently planning to debut a a refreshed version of the iPad mini and the iPad Pro at the event.
It’s a leak.
But it’s a pretty specific leak.
A series of 3D CAD images from @OnLeaks show that Apple’s upcoming iPad mini 4 tablet might be as thin as the current iPad Air 2, boasting a revised thickness of 6.1mm. A leaked video supports this claim as well.
The amazing-and-pretty-reliable Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities is making predictions again, this time regard upcoming Apple sale numbers, product colors and features.
In a new note released to investors, Kuo expects iPhone shipments to fall in the current quarter as anticipation builds for the next-gen iPhone, dubbed the “iPhone 6s”. Kuo has stated that yields for the Force Touch input have been low, which may constrict the device’s availability at first. Kuo also predicted new materials for Apple Watch casings and that Apple will launch new Apple Watch Sport color options to match the new iPhone.
