Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo offers predictions as to iPhone SE 2 specs in latest note to investors

When analyst Ming-Chi Kuo drops details as to forthcoming Apple products, people listen.

Late Sunday, the analyst released additional details as to the upcoming iPhone 2, which Kuo has previously stated will launch in early 2020.

Kuo stated that the iPhone SE 2’s body will be similar to the iPhone 8, and will arrive in 64GB and 128GB storage configurations with three color options: silver, space gray, and red. He also predicts that the starting price for the new cheaper iPhone will be $399.

He also stated that the iPhone 8 will ship with the latest A13 processor as well as 3GB of RAM onboard. This means it will have the same processor as the just-launched iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro, albeit with 1 GB less RAM.

Not surprisingly, the handset will not feature 3D Touch functionality, which has been removed from Apple’s flagship 2019 iPhones.

Kuo continues to believe that Apple will announce the iPhone SE 2 in the first quarter of next year.

Stay tuned for additional details as they become available.
