Apple announces October 13th date for “Hi, Speed” media event, is rumored to be launching iPhone 12 and AirTags

Come October 13th, Apple will announce the nifty stuff.

The company has just revealed that its next event, dubbed “Hi, Speed” and expected to be the announcement of the iPhone 12, will take place on October 13th at 10 A.M. Pacific time.

Users can set a reminder for the event on Apple’s YouTube channel, as they see fit.

The event is rumored to be covering the 5.4-inch “iPhone 12,” the 6.1-inch “iPhone 12 Max,” the 6.1-inch “iPhone 12 Pro,” and the 6.7-inch “iPhone 12 Pro Max.” Aside from the name, the Pro models are expected to have better displays, supporting 120Hz ProMotion and 10-bit color. 

Apple is also expected to reveal its “AirTags” product, which is said to function as an object tracking accessory. AirTags are said to take advantage of Ultra Wideband and Bluetooth, the accessory could attach to keys or other objects, and could be found via the user’s Find My app, by using the existing network of iPhones in the world to help locate the tag.
