Apple releases Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad

If you were waiting for Apple’s Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro to become available for the iPad, the wait is over.

Apple has launched iPad versions of the editing programs via the App Store, wherein users can buy app subscriptions. The launch means two of Apple’s Pro-grade tools for content creation are now usable on both Mac and iPad.

Both tools retail for $4.99 per month or $49 per year, and a one-month free trial is also available.

Final Cut Pro will be usable with iPad and iPad Pro models using an M1 chip or later, running iPadOS 16.4. Logic Pro is compatible with models using an A12 Bionic chip or later, and also needs iPadOS 16.4.

Third-party instruments and effects can also be used within Logic Pro projects.

Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad are now available on the App Store.
