Apple releases watchOS 7.0.2 update, looks to fix battery drain, ECG issues

Apple today released watchOS 7.0.2, the second update to the watchOS 7 operating system that came out in September. watchOS 7.0.2 comes more than two weeks after the release of watchOS 7.0.1, a bug fix update.

This should come in handy.

Apple on Monday released watchOS 7.0.2. The update, which can be downloaded via a paired iPhone by going to General > Software Update, requires at least 50 percent battery life to install (it can be placed on a charger if need be,) and needs to be in range of the iPhone.

The update offers the following fixes and changes:

– Addresses an issue that could cause the battery to drain more quickly
– Resolves an issue that prevented some users from accessing the ECG app in regions where it is available

If you’ve had a chance to try the watchOS update and have any feedback to offer, please let us know about your experience in the comments.
