Despite sold-out pre-orders for the Apple Vision Pro headset, expectations for some of its features may have to be tempered to some degree.
Apple on Friday revealed via a support page that the video mirroring over AirPlay isn’t full HD. Instead, Vision Pro is rated for 720p video mirroring on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and AirPlay-connected smart TVs.
A previously published technical specification had listed the resolution at 1080p for screen mirroring. The feature is intended to make it possible for others to see what you see in Vision Pro.
