Apple looks to be in the process of introducing Support, its new iOS app that helps users find handy support articles as well as book AppleCare services and repairs.

The company has offered the following description of the app:

Need help? Apple Support app is your personalized guide to the best options from Apple. Find answers with articles tailored to your products and questions. Call, chat or email with an expert right away, or schedule a callback when it’s convenient. Get a repair at an Apple Store or a nearby Apple Authorized Service Provider. Apple Support is here to help.

Apple previously included some of the features found in the new Support app in its existing Apple Store app, but recently removed the ability to schedule Genius Bar appointments as it removes the emphasis on the Genius Bar in its stores.

Support notes which products are registered with your Apple ID and goes from there. Apple also launched a dedicated Twitter account regarding technical questions easier this year.

The new app uses the ability to tell which products are registered with your Apple ID so you can find support for the right hardware too. Apple also launched a dedicated Twitter account for fielding technical questions over the social network earlier this year.

Support will likely hit the US App Store soon and requires iOS 9.0 or later to install and run.
