Leaked images of purported iPhone 13 units show significantly larger camera module on some models

Once again, it might be a leaked case design that points out something huge on the next-gen iPhone.

An image shared by the Weibo account “UnclePanPan” and shared on Twitter by DuanRui shows an iPhone 12 Pro in a case allegedly designed for the upcoming iPhone 13 Pro. The image reveals the true extent of the camera modules size increase for the upcoming high-end iPhone.

The image follows the sharing of dummy models of the upcoming iPhone 13 models, which showed repositioned camera modules for the standard iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini handsets. The new image offers a closer look at the increased size of the camera module for the iPhone 13 Pro Max compared to the camera module on the current high-end iPhone.

In more recent news, DuanRui has followed up with additional images and clarifications as to the initial image shared to the Weibo account. The image initially shared was a case designed for the iPhone 13 Pro, not the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Another set of images shared by another Weibo account allegedly shows a case designed for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, with a smaller camera module size increase compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
