If you’re curious to know about the internal components of Apple’s 2021 Apple TV 4K, the extremely cool cats have completed yet another teardown, this time posting the following video:
The report indicates that the main unit is exceptionally easy to get into, and features an A12 Bionic processor as well as an easily removed fan, heat sink, and logic board. The updated Siri Remote, on the other hand, proved tricky to get into, with a tough road to travel after the two pentalobe screws were removed from the bottom of the unit. This, in turn, can make replacing the unit’s battery tricky without some practice, even though the battery itself is charged via the Lightning port.
